Approximately 70 people (full house) were in attendance at the Asia Pacific Security Seminar “Japan’s Foreign Policy under the New Administration” at the East West Center in Washington DC held on Oct. 29th. Questions from the floor included those concerning Japan’s foreign policy in the new administration, U.S. bases in Japan, the northern territories and the role of the Social Democratic Party in Japan.
